This is the only STEEL mill wheel in the state of Nebraska.

Note:  The wheel is from an 1875 mill, but was installed new, assembled on site, in 1905.

The purpose of the TCHS is to: collect, preserve, and display articles and information about Thayer County, and to arouse public interest, and provide education, about the collection, the county, and it's history.
