month @ 6:30 - Public is welcome.
For Nov./Dec. we just meet the first
Monday in Dec. and have a Christmas
party on the 2nd. Monday
The Annual Fall Festival is
the last Sunday of Sept.
The annual Blacksmith Hammer-In is
the last full weekend in June
SOME OF THE ACTIVITIES
WE HAVE HAD.
Valentine trees.
Easter at the Museum with egg hunt.
Annual Dinner with Monte McCord who spoke on the Hastings bank robbery.
Country outing to Corliss house and dugout.
Corn planted and picked by kids to shell and for them to grind.
Museum open all Memorial Weekend. (3 days)
Increased displays in all buildings.
Treasures under the trees and ice cream social - 2 day event.
Summer picnic at the Bruning Ranch.
New sidewalk, benches, and other improvements.
Annual Fall Festival - displays, crafts, demonstrations, Car and tractor shows.
Quilt displays.
Christmas trees and Nativity scene displays.
Visit our booth at the annual Thayer County Fair.
Our meetings are the last Monday of each month, with a few exceptions. They are usually held in the Annex Building ( west one on the south side of the street ) but occasionally we have them in the Community Building, which is just east of the Annex Building. An agenda ( to those with e-mail ) is usually sent out about 10 days prior to the meetings.
