The Williamson Oil Company gas station was donated by the Kent and Jackie Williamson family in the summer of 2021 and is now a part of the Thayer County Museum Complex.  The station, a multi-generation business, was in the Williamson family for many decades.

The purpose of the TCHS is to: collect, preserve, and display articles and information about Thayer County, and to arouse public interest, and provide education, about the collection, the county, and it's history.
